It works fine in my (limited) testing with both direct and indirect rendering. I also compare the outputs after preprocessing (gcc -E) with or without this commit, and they are identical.

This new (intermediate) EGL state tracker is the base work for EGL drivers that uses Gallium. It makes it easier to support new window systems. Currently, there is support only for X11.
