2009-05-13mesa: clean-up vertex array object VBO unbinding and delete/refcountingBrian Paul
Don't really delete vertex array objects until the refcount hits zero. At that time, unbind any pointers to VBOs. (cherry picked from commit 32b851c80792623195069d7a41a5808cff3b2f6f)
2009-05-13mesa: reference counting for gl_array_objectBrian Paul
Every kind of object that can be shared by multiple contexts should be refcounted. (cherry picked from commit 1030bf0ded2a88a5e27f7a4d393c11cfde3d3c5a)
2009-05-12glXChooseVisual: Only consider fbconfig if we can get the corresponding visual.Michel Dänzer
This can fail, e.g. when XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 is set. See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=524794 and http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21600 .
2009-05-11Test either GL_FRONT_LEFT or GL_FRONT for front-buffer renderingIan Romanick
For non-stereo visuals, which is all we support, we treat GL_FRONT_LEFT as GL_FRONT. However, they are technically different, and they have different enum values. Test for either one to determine if we're in front-buffer rendering mode. This fix was suggested by Pierre Willenbrock. 2009-05-11st: do proper refcounting for framebuffer surfacesBrian Paul
2009-05-11mesa: Fixed a texture memory leakBrian Paul
The current texture for any particular texture unit is given an additional reference in update_texture_state(); but if the context is closed before that texture can be released (which is quite frequent in normal use, unless a program unbinds and deletes the texture and renders without it to force a call to update_texture_state(), the memory is lost. This affects general Mesa; but the i965 is particularly affected because it allocates a considerable amount of additional memory for each allocated texture. pixel formats. Fix a segfault when using softpipe.
2009-05-08mesa/st: keep surface_copy arguments positiveKeith Whitwell
The src/dest x,y, and w,h arguments of the pipe->surface_copy function are unsigned and the drivers aren't expecting negative (or extremly-large unsigned) values as inputs. Trim the requests at the state-tracker level before passing down.
2009-05-08mesa/st: remove redundant call to st_finish in CopyTexSubImageKeith Whitwell
Rendering should already have been flushed, any synchronization will be done by the driver or memory manager.
2009-05-08wgl: Export pixelformats with accumulation bits.José Fonseca
2009-05-08mesa/st: cope with non-ibo index data in st_draw_feedback.cKeith Whitwell
Previously only non-indexed or indicies-in-a-vbo cases were handled in this code. This change adds the missing regular indices-in-memory case.
2009-05-08util/upload: catch failures to map_range and return errorKeith Whitwell
Caller may be able to do something about this - eg flush and retry.

2009-05-08mesa: more complete fix for transform_invarient glitchesKeith Whitwell
Add a new flag mvp_with_dp4 in the context, and use that to switch both ffvertex.c and programopt.c vertex transformation code to either DP4 or MUL/MAD implementations.
2009-05-08mesa/main: set PREFER_DP4 to match position_invarient codeKeith Whitwell
This is a quick fix for z fighting in quake4 caused by the mismatch between vertex transformation here and in the position_invarient code. Full fix would be to make this driver-tunable and adjust both position_invarient and ffvertex_prog.c code to respect driver preferences.

2009-05-08util: Limit the stack walk to avoid referencing undefined memory.José Fonseca
2009-05-08gallium/tgsi: hack around linker/archiver breakageKeith Whitwell
Add a dummy function which exists only so that tgsi_text_translate() doesn't get magic-ed out of the libtgsi.a archive by the build system. Don't remove unless you know this has been fixed - check on mingw/scons builds as well.

2009-05-07swrast: fix span clipping bugBrian Paul
If a horizontal span of pixels was located at x < 0 we could sometimes read/write outside of renderbuffer bounds.
2009-05-07mesa: unmap buffer objects during context tear-downBrian Paul
2009-05-05gallium: fix texcoords for cubemap mipmap generationBrian Paul
We need to use (s,t,r) cubemap coords when sampling from the cubemap texture so the rendered quad gets texture samples from the correct cube face.
2009-05-04glx: replace Xmalloc() calls with Xcalloc()Brian Paul
Fixes a bug where psp->WaitX was uninitialized. Reported by Chris Clayton.
2009-05-01st: create renderbuffer's pipe_surface in st_render_texture()Brian Paul
Previously we created the pipe_surface during framebuffer validation. But if we did a glCopyTex[Sub]Image() before anything else we wouldn't yet have the surface. This fixes that.
2009-05-01mesa: fix state validation bug for glCopyTex[Sub]Image()Brian Paul
We need to make sure the framebuffer state is up to date to make sure we read pixels from the right buffer when doing a texture image copy.
2009-05-01Fix symbol list for mangled Mesa on Darwin.Tom Fogal
When building mangled Mesa on Darwin, the exported symbols are named `_mgluWhatever' instead of simply `_gluWhatever'. When using a list of exported symbols via the system ld's `-exported_symbols_list' command line option (as done by mklib), this resulted in error messages about exporting symbols which do not exist. Fortunately the file format accepts simple wildcards. This throws a wildcard so that the symbol list will match both the mangled and non-mangled names, preventing the warning and actually exporting the correct symbols in one shot.

Make things more consistent, prepare for more function hooks.
2009-05-01r300-gallium: Don't bother with conditional double define.Corbin Simpson
We'll just forever leave it in r300_winsys.h since it's needed for whichever winsys is hosting the pipe.

2009-04-30r300: Increase reference count of texture objects referenced by current state.Michel Dänzer
Fixes a use-after-free reported in http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20539, so this possibly fixes that bug. It has been confirmed to fix http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17895 .
2009-04-30gallium: Add SCons build support for the DRI state tracker.Michel Dänzer
2009-04-29egl: Don't install demodriverDan Nicholson
I don't think anyone besides a developer would ever want to use the demo egl driver. Furthermore, egl would only ever load demodriver if it was set via EGL_DRIVER in the environment. In that case, I think you can point it to your mesa source directory.
2009-04-29Use variable library name in pkg-config output.Tom Fogal
Previously the pkg-config output files would contain e.g. `-lGL' and `-lGLU', even if the user modified their configuration to build libraries with different names. This modifies the pkg-config inputs, and corresponding makery, so that modifying the output library name will cause the appropriate updated name to appear in the pkg-config `-l' option.
