From 11d6f1c69871d0b7edc28f639256460839fccd2d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Ian Romanick Date: Tue, 16 Nov 2010 12:01:42 -0800 Subject: glsl: Add ir_quadop_vector expression The vector operator collects 2, 3, or 4 scalar components into a vector. Doing this has several advantages. First, it will make ud-chain tracking for components of vectors much easier. Second, a later optimization pass could collect scalars into vectors to allow generation of SWZ instructions (or similar as operands to other instructions on R200 and i915). It also enables an easy way to generate IR for SWZ instructions in the ARB_vertex_program assembler. --- src/glsl/ir_optimization.h | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) (limited to 'src/glsl/ir_optimization.h') diff --git a/src/glsl/ir_optimization.h b/src/glsl/ir_optimization.h index ffdc66b9f7..1f8da16bcb 100644 --- a/src/glsl/ir_optimization.h +++ b/src/glsl/ir_optimization.h @@ -59,4 +59,5 @@ bool do_vec_index_to_swizzle(exec_list *instructions); bool lower_noise(exec_list *instructions); bool lower_variable_index_to_cond_assign(exec_list *instructions, bool lower_input, bool lower_output, bool lower_temp, bool lower_uniform); +bool lower_quadop_vector(exec_list *instructions, bool dont_lower_swz); bool optimize_redundant_jumps(exec_list *instructions); -- cgit v1.2.3
