2012-07-17all packages: rename XXXTARGETS to xxx-packageArnout Vandecappelle (Essensium/Mind)
Also remove the redundant $(call ...). This is a purely mechanical change, performed with find package linux toolchain boot -name \*.mk | \ xargs sed -i -e 's/$(eval $(call GENTARGETS))/$(eval $(generic-package))/' \ -e 's/$(eval $(call AUTOTARGETS))/$(eval $(autotools-package))/' \ -e 's/$(eval $(call CMAKETARGETS))/$(eval $(cmake-package))/' Signed-off-by: Arnout Vandecappelle (Essensium/Mind) <arnout@mind.be> Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>
2012-06-11pppd: fix plugin search pathGustavo Zacarias
Fix the plugin search path by passing a --prefix to configure. DESTDIR is used in the source code for the search path of plugins (DESTDIR/lib/pppd/VERSION). Since DESTDIR defaults to /usr/local we get the search path wrong so the 'plugin' directive requires a full pathspec to the plugin rather than the .so name, which isn't nice or portable. 2011-09-29package: remove useless arguments from GENTARGETSThomas Petazzoni
Thanks to the pkgparentdir and pkgname functions, we can rewrite the GENTARGETS macro in a way that avoids the need for each package to repeat its name and the directory in which it is present. 2010-08-29pppd.mk installs radattr.so twice and omits radrealms.soDarcy Watkins
In pppd.mk the radattr.so plugin (for radiua) is installed twice (the second install overwriting the first) but the radrealms.so plugin is omitted from the install. This appears to be a copy-paste error. Below is patch that corrects this. signed-off by: Darcy Watkins <dwatkins@tranzeo.com> Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>
2010-07-07Update all packages to quote $(TARGET_CC)Thomas Petazzoni
Now that TARGET_CC contains several space-separated words, it must be used quoted everywhere. Signed-off-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@free-electrons.com>

2010-03-22pppd: only install manpages if BR2_HAVE_MANPAGES is enabledPeter Korsgaard
They do get removed in target-finalize, but we might as well not install them in the first place. Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>

2009-10-01buildroot: silence ./configure step when building with 'make -s'Peter Korsgaard
We have been passing -q to ./configure when using 'make -s' for packages using Makefile.autotools.in for some time. Do the same for packages using autotools, but not using the Makefile.autotools.in infrastructure, taking care to not do it for packages with hand written configure scripts. 2009-09-03package: Remove unnecessary dependencies on uclibc. Will Newton
A C library will have been built by the toolchain makefiles, so there is no need for packages to explicitly depend on uclibc. Signed-off-by: Will Newton <will.newton@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Peter Korsgaard <jacmet@sunsite.dk>

2007-03-13fixup package LDFLAGS handlingEric Andersen
2007-01-14fixup a whole steaming pile of insanity. When packages are configured,Eric Andersen
they should be configured with --prefix=/usr and we then need to use make DESTDIR=$(STAGING_DIR) install to get things installed into the staging directory. The current situation for many packages, which use --prefix=$(STAGING_DIR) results in the staging_dir paths getting compiled into the binary itself. This also adds in a pile of libtool fixups. Between broken pkgconfig, broken libtool handling, and broken --prefix settings, its a wonder things have worked as well as they have up till now. -Erik
2006-11-17- bump version and pass the target cflags in properly (at least for most of theBernhard Reutner-Fischer

2005-05-16This patch updates the pppd package to build version 2.4.3. The 2.4.3 versionEric Andersen
of pppd adds additional features. http://bugs.uclibc.org/view.php?id=259
2005-03-09Per http://bugs.uclibc.org/view.php?id=130Eric Andersen
sed needs to use different delimiters since the regex is using slashes from a filename
2005-02-10There is no need to have a separate 'Makefile.in' file in theEric Andersen
general case, therefore, combine the toplevel Makefile options such as setting TARGETS into the per-package *.mk file
